The Things You do

Lots of little things have been blowing my mind lately about this boy....
  1. We went by the cheap book place and scored a book about Spiders and as we were walking out of the shop Will is full noise going "Let's READ IT!"
  2. I got Will some timber so we could make stuff in the sandpit and use it for ramps to race the matchbox cars down. The next day he got out his mower and set up the ramps so he could drive the mower up them and put the mower 'away'- just like the mower guy does when he comes to mow the neighbours lawn.
  3. I love the way he say "Fanks Mum!" in this long drawn out drawl like he is so super hyped and happy about receiving a small bowl of raisins.
  4. His vocabulary is absolutely stunning and it seems he only needs one exposure to learn a word and how to use it correctly.
  5. I find it amusing and slightly disconcerting that he likes to say; "That's one of Will's Fave-rits" when he sees something he'd like to have in a store.
  6. I am amazed by the fact that he is starting to plan his days out. He'll tell me that we are going to do water play and read stories tomorrow when I tuck in him at night.
  7. I love his use of the words "things' and 'stuff'. He was talking to the spider on his new book while we were driving the other day. "What's that there, spider?.... It's stuff, spider, it's stuff!" and "What are we going to see Spider? We are going to see some things, Spider". So funny!
  8. He likes plaing on the computer doing letters on Word. His favourite is to find the letters for people in our family; W, M and K.
  9. He practices writing his name when he is drawing. He says "W-i-l-l" and makes a mark for each one.
  10. He knows stacks of animals and sea creatures and demonstrated that knowledge on a recent beach trip.

And he does cute foot prints.

Funky tricks with his body.

And has the cutest wee bum!
