Horror-scopes

I'm liking the horoscopes on Stuff today they give you your Halloween Alter-ego- I'm not a fan of Halloween but I like the dressing up ideas:

Merenia/Me (Libra): Your Halloween alter ego: a political leader or royalty from any era from Obama to Marie Antoinette.
Tama/Les (Cancer): Your Halloween alter ego: an Egyptian such as Cleopatra or King Tut, or a mummy.
Kieran (Scorpio): Halloween alter ego: a vampire, zombie, werewolf or other night creature.
Saskia (Gemini): Your Halloween alter ego: a reality-television star such as Snooki, Pauly or Kim Kardashian.
Les/Merenia (Leo): Your Halloween alter ego: a pop star, dead or alive, such as Elvis, MJ, Ke$ha or Justin Bieber.
Will (Sagittarius):Your Halloween alter ego: a space adventurer such as an astronaut, an intergalactic traveler from the realm of science fiction or a space alien.
(Capricorn): Your Halloween alter ego: a baby, a flirty angel or a naughty devil.

As a side note did you know that Les, Merenia, Will, and Tama all qualify as cusp born? No wonder our family has such a full on mix of personalities!

14 Weeks in 14 (or so)days: Week 35

This is the week we grew tired, learned much, saw much, did much, ate much, and yet seemed to get nowhere....

I enjoyed our surroundings and the son, the sun and I rose early...

We reflected on the awesomeness of a still river in the early morning glow.

We spent a lot of time doing this....

Traded an old coffee habit for an even older one. (I had one of these each day I was pregnant with Merenia- no wonder I gained so much weight and she never slept much as a baby).

Crossed bridges...

...entered tunnels...

and ended up in heaven.....

Took unexpected detours and enjoyed the architecture... old...

new...

and not quite done...

Saw the mighty Wacca and no doubt one dreamed of visiting as well.

Were reminded of home.

But called this place home...

Took a walk on the riverside....

And stopped for a long distance snap...

A spot of exercise....

And some alfresco energising...

Made shadows in the setting suns warm light

Paid cash for our new car....

And boggled at the alternatives to buying a car....

and imagined having it all... or even just a little....

Drove in WA for the first time...

...with a little help.

Said goodbye to the rental...

and hello to a Nana nap (or two).

Saw the ultimate vehicle to take to scrap camp....

... it even had my name on it....

Watched models flip, spin and turn in the setting sun.

Decided I could never tire of the setting sun in this western state.

Wrote home about it....

Ate $1 cheese burgers one too many times or more...

Mystified a Magpie. (look behind you!!!!)

And met one mother with a VERY large family (19).

Got up close and personal with another local.

Took it easy.....

....and enjoyed.

Bamboozled the locals with our crazy antics... swimming in September, must be mad...

or Kiwi's (it was a 24 degree day!!)

Discovered the perils of land sharks.

And hoped and prayed for a lottery win.... if you can't have a real horse then this must be the next best thing....

14 Weeks in 14 (or so)days: Week 34

This was the week where Merenia played her last game for Hobby and was recognised for her awesome contribution to the team.

I drove 'Mother Trucker' the first for the last time.

Kieran caught a game with friends...

But not the game he hoped to catch...

And he said good bye to friends...

...who are as good as family.

We watched planes with small people....

... and took family photos of one kind...

and another...

Saw Elvis out side of Starbucks in Browns Bay (where else really?)

Carried on a tradition....

And went back to where it all began...

Saw a magical kingdom that could not be captured on Camera (none of the digi pics worked out). And watched the sun set on our last day in New Zealand for who knows how long...

Rang a bell to remember...

Heralded the call for 'last drinks'- Thanks Beau and Francis!

Gave last instructions....

And then some more last instructions...

Sipped the last sip.

Revisited places we once knew intimately...

spent many hours...

said more goodbyes...

And hit the long road out of town...

Checked in 11 + 6

Posed with a famous face on the verge of glory.

And took to the skies...

entertained by the Wiggles...

The netball, the rugby, and the baby...

Crashed, fortunately not literally.

Set sight on land...

And spied the bright city lights from a balcony on high....

Woke up to high rises and lazy rivers....

We're reminded that the sun sets in the West.

Frequented Play houses whilst looking at real houses...

And sometimes just hung out togther.
