City Streets

The day of Kieran's Young Leaders Conference Merenia, Will and I dropped some of the boys off to the Convention centre and then had to do a drive by on ESP (Excellent Screen Printers) to pick up some T-shirts for Les. Dave wasn't quite at work after we'd done the drop off so we took an indirect route and drove up Queen Street. The Whitcouls store had the most awesome display for Mother's day and I had just handed the camera over to Kieran. So when we went back to pick the boys up after we left early and took the Northern Motorway into town so we could head back up Queen Street and take some pics with the other cameras (yes we have 3 digital cameras- actually four because our fist one a Fuji is stashed away somewhere too). Merenia took the above photo as we were about to head over the bridge.

I love architecture! I think I was an architect in a former life.

Here's the Whitcoul's- so worth making a second special trip for....

I would have loved to have jumped out and checked out some of the stuff that people had written- but parking in the city on Queen street for a quick stop isn't generally option unless you are super lucky, a bus , or a courier. Luckily we got a red light and got to stop in just the right place!

We got to Greenlane about 20 minutes early so we took a bit of a drive and look around Cornwall park and up One Tree (no more) Hill.

Then we picked up the boys and headed for home- a lovely day was had by all.
