Rugby On The Brain is a drain

Kieran went with a minimal creation for the Toy World lego competition this month....

We have balloted for Rugby World cup tickets. We went in the Hamilton venue pool- better games than North Harbour and cheaper than Eden Park. Karen, Joe and Jake have done the same and each family has balloted for an extra child so that if either one of us misses out then the boys will still both get to go- and if we both get tickets then we'll have a spare kids ticket if any one has $100 and wants us to take their kid to see the AB's! I have to say I felt quite ill clicking confirm on $400 worth of Rugby tickets... are you kidding me $400 MORE on sport than we'll already be paying out this year???? crazy stuff!! (You know how much scrapbooking I could buy with $400?? a freakin' LOT!)
And talking about crazy stuff I read ALL of the fine print with regards to buying the tickets and found among other things there is no guarantee that if you ballot together you will necessarily be sitting together! In fact if you chose the option to go down a level of seating (if your chosen one is sold out) then you could potentially have people in two different parts of the stadium- what the?? Oh and the other thing you could only have four people on the ballot- so if you were a rugby mad family of five or more tough luck! Which kid would you leave at home??
