Yesterdays prompt for Holidays in Hand was: Write about an object or holiday item you inherited. If there is a specific instance in connection with it. Or why it is significant.

I do have some Christmas decorations from when I was a kid but I'm not sure as to how I got them because I sure as heck wasn't gifted them in any nice hand-me-down sort of way so I figured I might skip this prompt. :-) It did make me think about what we might do for the kids in the future as I'm quite attached to my decorations so I'll have to figure what we might hand on at some future point when that becomes appropriate.
