And our own funny story- The kids were playing Hide and Seek this morning and Kieran went haring off to the kitchen he some how managed to smack his knee into the door and ended up sprawled on the floor in pain. He hopped through to the couch and lay writhing and trying to hold back tears. (hang in here ok it does get funny). I suggested to Will who was holding his little red hammer (aka HAMM-MA!) that he hit Kieran on the head to take his mind off the pain. Will took on my suggestion and headed in for the kill. I quickly stopped him and suggested he went and give Kieran a kiss and a cuddle instead to make him feel better. He toddled towards Kieran again lips pursed and arms out. Kieran sat up and leaned over for the kiss. At which point Will employed his stealth Ninja Tactics and whacked Kieran hard in the eye with the hammer.
We can laugh now we have some distance on the matter (in fact we could laugh then too but only if our faces were averted from the victim.) Kieran has retained his sight and seems fully recovered. Will is not to be trusted with hammers. :-)
