Fortuitously for Les this years Aussie Nats were hosted by WA. There were 3 gliding events over 4 days. I took the little boys to check it out on the last day- Hand Launch Glider.
When we arrived they were on a break so Will got a few flights in and worked on checking out the windsock. I love this little jump below....
Tama did a spot of reading with Daddy. And I took some artsy shots of the big windsock and checked out the facilities. (There is something rather unnerving about lowering your bare bottom over a loo stocked with little scorpions- even if they have already drowned.... they had to come from somewhere to get in there).
Eventually it was time to fly again- unsurprisingly not many had made long (expensive) the trip to WA so there were only four competitors. Merenia was timing for two of them!
At the end of the day Les got handed his second Gold of the weekend which sits quite nicely with the Bronze he got in F3B.....
