Guest Bloger: Kieran :Transformers 2 the Movie

Spolier Alert: This review is heavy on storyline and light on review if you haven't seen the movie but intend to then skip to the last line of the review.

On the 4th of July, I went to see Transformers 2 with my friend Tony. He was with me when we watched the first movie which was awesome, but this one was even better. Before the movie, we got an ice cream and some Pods ( first time having Pods) Verdict, definitely having some again. We played 1 game in the arcade. We chose car racing ( Tony and his dad are car crazy) and I beat him in the last second before the finish. Then we had the ice cream before it melted and it was time for the movie. The trailers for the movies were awesome ( 2012 and G.I Joe) But Transformers the first minute was better than all the trailers combined. The Decepticons had been hiding in the earth and their 6th victim city was Shanghai, China. The excitement levels were overflowing during the whole movie but there were some gross bits as well when halfway through the movie, Sam ( owner of Bumblebee) has touched a piece of the All Spark ( A power source for converting everyday items into Transformers) has something Megatron and The Fallen need ( The Fallen is 1 Transformer, an Autobot turned Decepticon). This results in Sam having goo inserted into his mouth. Optimus Prime comes to the rescue but is killed by Megatron. The Fallen, only able to be stopped by a Prime comes to earth. Optimus Prime was the last Prime so an age old Transformer, the opposite of the the Fallen. He transports them to Egypt to find the Matrix, the only thing able to bring Optimus Prime back to life. Whilst the Decepticons plan to destroy the sun with technology hidden inside one of the pyramids. Sam gets blasted and nearly killed on the way to saving Optimus Prime. But he ... does not die. Optimus is restored and Optimus and the Navy save the planet. The are more new and old Transformers named Predacons. They work for the Decepticons the old one being a scorpion and the new one being a jaguar ( the animal, not the car) . This movie is cool and you need to see it sometime.
