In other news they also brought a Crocodile over from Australia for Butterfly Creek you can see the article in the Airforce News.
And they recently played host to a bunch a cool kiwi kids. Les texted me that he just saw Kip from Shorty Street- our own kiwi kids thought that was pretty cool.
The Chief of Airforce (CAF) will be at the parade tomorrow... do you think I should show him these?
I last de-moulded the kitchen walls on the 16th of May when they did the Vinyl... so they are now way overdue.
Doesn't everyone need to pull out every large furniture item backed by an external wall EVERY month so they can remove the BLACK mould growing there with some highly toxic chemicals... just the thing to sniff as you drift off to sleep or cook your dinner?? No, just tenants of the State? Oh, Ok. Right then.
So I pulled out the buffet that's in the corner of our kitchen and that is what I found. As I wrote in an email to Les; if this is what it's doing to our furniture imagine what it's doing to our lungs. And I wonder why Will keeps getting sick??
Wouldn't it save money in the long run (health care and job productivity) to fix the cause of the problem now?

oh hun that's awful!! Well by comparrison we live in Palmerston (so coastal) in the south island (so cold) in a house built in the '20's (so old) for ten months now and I've demoulded 1 thing, ONCE (and it was the windowsill in the laundry beside the dryer so not really a surprise....) The difference?? Pinkbatts! get on to it Air Force, that's hideous!
