Tiny Tales from Week 16

The middle of the school holidays started with a trip to New Zealand for Kieran
And a trip to Armadale to see our favourite pig! I know which trip I'd rather have taken.
Unfortunately there were a lot of other very piggy people there in the form of parents who looked like they'd pull a knife on the next 2 year old that blocked their view of Peppa. Tama didn't enjoy it at all- and he's a very big Peppa Fan.... I guess he's just not a fan of very big Peppa's.

The highlight of the trip was the $2 I spent here!

Mr Very Expensive Gelato man came on the weekend... and when you've already said hey kids lets get Ice creams you can't back out of a tiny cup of expensive posh ice cream.

The middle of the holidays saw Merenia head north to a friends for a birthday sleepover.
And the Easter Bunny pay a call at our place hiding his wares out in the garden.

Love that bunny!

Merenia returned home with the birthday girl in tow.

The total fire ban period ended so we got to light a small fire to get rid of the mountain of leaves, sticks and gumnuts that had accumulated in the yard. It was both fun and not so fun. You can only burn from 6pm till midnight. You can't leave the fire unattended at all. And this stuff creates a lot of smoke.... everything smelled like smoke afterwards especially me and Les.

It was around this point in the holidays that life went to the dogs.
