On our bookshelf this month....
Creating Keepsakes, two cool altered art books that Miss Wendy loaned me; 'Collage Lost and Found' and 'Bent Bound and Stitched' by Giuseppinio "Josie" Cirincione- these have definitely gone on my scrapbooking wish list for the universe, a cool new picture book called; Woolbur and I have started (the first page) of Artemis Fowl. CK Ultimate Guide to Creating Photo Keepsakes, and Super Fast pages with 4 x6 photos.
Loving on the box....
Beyond the Poseidon Adventure- who knew there was a squeal to this truly crap thriller/drama film I LOVE it!. Ben 10- the kids are big on this in the mornings. Montana Sunday theatre- the one about the unmarried girls in the maternity home- seriously cool. Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewive, Top Chef, and NZ's Next Top Model (It's like watching a train wreck in motion).
Remember when.....
Les' Mums Birthday... ok so we didn't actually get sorted for this- whoops! and Easter- the bunny was in full effect. ANZAC Day.
For you...For me?
Easter Eggs, and lots of books- Lemony Snicket and Woolbur and a few things for Ma and Kieley!
Germs and bugs and botherations....
Today was good today was fun, tomorrow is another one...
Bit of a shopping jaunt on Easter Saturday with L, W and M. K and L went to Camp at MERC in Long Bay and W and I went with Joz and Alex to see them and the Dawson men , Kieran's first Rugby game with Massey RFC- a friendly against Kumeu, Easter Lunch with the Raes, Les and the big kids went to the Blues vs. Reds, and the Zoo with Ashlyn and Jake. Petra and Tony came for a play date and had K and M over in return. Alyssa, Brody and Hunter did the same. Whenuapai Fun Run day.
Yum, yum, yum....
Easter eggs, Honey Mustard Chicken Tonight, Pam's Kumara and Orange and Bacon Salad and her Choc cake with yummy berry sauce and cream... holy YUM!!
'It was on sale'....
New jeans (4 pairs for $60!!), lots of books, and some scrapbooking stuff from a shop that's closing down. A toy helicopter for Will which was a real hit. Some eggs for my 'easter tree', a crop-o-dile, and a new slide for the playground mad baby. And a few more books, and a trolley with blocks.
Bugger!
Les went away on course after Easter for 4 weeks. Not making the Kaisercraft DT.
Hooray!
Quite a bit of scrapbooking done.
Etc...
Will started to feed himself with a spoon and sit at the big table. :-) He also did a lot of walking... but only when it suited and he started saying 'Wow!".
You know who's good idea this was? Katie The Scrapbook Lady. Go check out her list of tasks to do at the end of each month as well.
