We were lucky enough to score an invite to the Rae's for an Easter Lunch. So we packed up some treats and headed over. The kids scored big time on the chocolate side getting bunnies and other good stuff from Granny and Kieley! We had an awesome BBQ lunch with a yummy kumara, orange and Bacon Salad, among other good stuff.
After lunch we there was some hotly contested gaming; Uno Spin.
We had a supper yummy dessert of chocolate cake with berry sauce and cream and ice cream. Super Yum!
There was a lot of playing and learning and hanging out... Pop and 'Horse'.
And then some more competition of the scrabble type as we discussed the pros and cons of Daughter swapping... we were in for quite a good deal... one tidy sensible grown-up daughter for one not so tidy and not so sensible daughter, until Merenia changed her mind about shifting, even though she had been promised a horse when the large lotto win was forthcoming- what with that???
It was a really lovely day!
