What Les did (with a little help)

This was our soon to be backyard in December. They took away all the branches and such before we moved in. But not the tree stump.

Here's our awesome bioseptic system before the Steven Handyman put a fence around it.

This is our backyard in April after we did our best to get it level and clear of crap. And watered the lawn under the washing line so we would have some green,

First Les made the retaining wall around the Bioseptic with bricks we found around the house. Then he laid the pavers on the bottom right of the image above so we'd have somewhere to park our recycling bin. Then we as a family picked up a huge pile of pavers for free locally. And then Les started the path.

We levelled out the backyard and  Les and Tama added the topsoil. Then Les spread the lawn seed.

And it grew.

Then the landlady said we could buy some blocks at their expense and Les extended the retaining wall.... a built his muscles.

Which meant he could keep going on the path.

It looked great as did the lawn fuelled by the WA sun and a whole heap of rain.

Then he extended the retaining wall around the corner and took the path all the way up to the shed door.

And now we have a super big lawn (we moved the tramp off the lawn into that corner above). And a fantastic path. And HEAPS less sand blowing around and getting into everything and onto everyone.
