Tiny Tales from Week 52+2

Here are the hits and misses for the last week and a bit of 2012 Stockley style....

Woolworths were well off the mark when our mega massive Christmas shop arrived almost a full hour late. It complete with a 1kg Pavlova that they had said they were out of stock on. While we were waiting on the shopping to be delivered I had gone out and brought a 1kg Pavlova.... that's 2kg hit of Pavlova- first time ever in my life I threw away Pav about 3 weeks later when I just couldn't look at it in the cupboard any more. And that was only the first one.

Later that day Lesand the little boys hit the Volcano park to see some steam and let off some as well.

The last of his birthday balloons were let go and they may just have hit the moon.....

We had our annual mixed up dinner.

Dessert and mains come together and you have to pull papers out of a cup to find out what you need to eat next.

Mmmmmm Sausages, Meringue and Cauliflower!

The wee dude hit one and a half.

The mercury his the VERY high 30's.

And Will hit his target.

The apricots hit the mark on the ham.

And we prepared for some Christmas Eve hits.

The kids hit the decorating scene.

And our Christmas eve dinner totally hit the mark.

The water fight was a total hit.

And so were the Christmas lights!
The conversation went something like this:
Tama: "Mum! What's that? Outside. WOW!"
Will: "Wow!"
Merenia "Wow!"
Tama: "Mum! What's that? Outside. WOW!"
Will: "Wow!"
Merenia "Wow!"
Tama: "Mum! What's that? Outside. WOW!"
Will: "Wow!"
Merenia "Wow!"
Tama: "Mum! What's that? Outside. WOW!"
Will: "Wow!"
Merenia "Wow!"
Tama: "Mum! What's that? Outside. WOW!"
Will: "Wow!"

In fact Tama even said "Mum! What's that? Outside. WOW!"

as we drove past a Maccas at one point.

Santa's snacks obviously hit the mark because he polished them off and left a note of thanks!

And then right on target there was Christmas so much of a hit it deserves it's own post.

Boxing day brought a round of construction and enjoyment.

As the temperature soared we had to stay in the shade and do whatever possible to keep cool.

A visit from friends was a big hit!

As was the 'cool' big boy!

There was dancing to greatest hits.
