Loving on the box....
Zip, not really watching TV except the news.
For you...For me?
Charms for the Nielson Girls- the last year for this as it has now been 10 years since Muz died- crazy and hard to believe! Plus a big 'granny lot' of photos for various rellies.

Germs and bugs and botherations....
Will and Kieran both ended the month with colds.
Today was good today was fun, tomorrow is another one...

Will and I went to Takapuna, Albany, and Browns Bay for Sushi, and shopping. Kieran went to the Blues first Super 15 game of the season with Jake. Les went to Matamata for the Soarfest and won it. Merenia went 10 pin bowling for Jada's birthday. A couple of backyard picnics with Will, and just generally the days spent at home after school started but before Kindy started. Jim came for the night with Starbucks and Indian takeaways.

Yum, yum, yum....

Will and I made Pikelets and Pancakes together. We tried a couple of new pies; Sausage, and Cherry. Kumara Chips with Aioli from the base cafe.

'It was on sale'....

Merenia's new school uniform. Clothes for me at K-mart. Will got a drum at the trade aid store and score a Xylophone at the Sally Army store- Kindy has developed an interest in instruments for him. Books for Wendy, Vienna, and Ehren. Moon Calendars for me and Wendy. Lots of digi scrapbook stuff.

Bugger!

Big troubles in Egypt and Libya. Huge Cyclone in Australia. New Zealand Soldier killed in Afghanistan. Les' Auntie Bonnie died. Which all sort of pales in comparison to the Christchurch Earth Quake on the 22nd.

Hooray!

Will started Kindy on the 15th and attends 5 afternoons each week. for 3 hrs each day!
Les won the Soarfest.
Will enjoyed his first ever game of Pinball.
Lots of swimming outside play and enjoying summer while it lasts.

Etc...

We checked in on the baby with the anatomy scan.
Merenia started at Hobsonville.
We started looking after Emily and Teagan.
We put together a bunch of lego and made a shelf in Will's room for his.
Kieran started taking the bus in the mornings to save us time and money.

You know who's good idea this was? Katie The Scrapbook Lady. Go check out her list of tasks to do at the end of each month as well.
