Birthday pressies for Jake, Les and Alyssa.

Germs and bugs and botherations....

Nappy Rash, a really bad case of. Gee Will got a cold no surprises there. Actually he got sick on the first and last days of the month. The last was a cold courtesy of Kieran. And the first was a weird combo of symptoms including spots which freaked me out- turned out to be Roseola which is a new one for us. Kieran also had a sick day- self diagnosed swine flu due to his speech topic. I.e; 8:30pm Tuesday night, pops head around lounge door. "Swine flu update; new symptom- I'm feeling a little weak"

Granny had her surgery on the last day of the month, and incredibly was home the next day- cool that she could be in her own place, but really, one night, after heart surgery???

Today was good today was fun, tomorrow is another one.

Going to watch the Mystics train. School Holidays. Kieran went to The Transformers Movie with Tony. Tony and Petra came for a sleepover. Merenia and I went to The Hannah Montana Movie. Went and caught up with the crew at Scrapbook camp. Kieran spent a few nights at Jakes. Going to watch Waikato play for free. Les' Medal Parade. Singstar Night. Alyssa came over to play. Kieran went to the All Blacks Roadshow with Jake and Karen. Merenia went to Alyssa's for a sleepover. Brody came here for a sleepover to escape the girls! :-)

Yum, yum, yum....

Crumpets... you know when you don't eat something for a while and then you go back to it and it's really really good.... crumpets with golden syrup. Les and Merenia squeezed lots of grapefruit from our tree it is quite tart this year but good with Sprite. They also made some homemade lemonade. Also, enjoying porridge on the cold winter mornings, breaking out the slow cooker again and the new cinnamon buns (which I think are Quality Bakers). I am working on kicking my frappucino addiction but once accomplished will need to kick my Cola habit. :-( Roast Pork with the works for Les' birthday.

'It was on sale'....

I got a new mat (A1 size) for my craft table, yay! Lots of scrapbooking stuff and a few good trade me scores- mostly books and some top secret stuff. Lego batman for the PS2.

Bugger!

Merenia and I went to The Hannah Montana Movie. :-) One of Les' work colleagues passed away. Not quite staying on the Starbucks Wagon. Losing my mind. Trying to sleep train Will to have afternoon naps in his cot. Les almost setting the house on fire in a battery charging incident, wrecking two batteries and the nose of the Alula in the process.

Hooray!

Lots of scrapbooking! Organising all the kids clothes and toys I am hoarding into purpose brought plastic boxes and getting rid of some crap including a heap of mismatched cardboard boxes. Got the kids room tidied, hucked out and toys returned from confiscation. A Saturday free of winter sport! The girls being on Singstar in the spare room to smell the smoke, raise the alarm and prevent the house burning down.

Etc...

Les got voted onto the Board of Trustees at School. Kieran was in the school science quiz team. Rippa Rugby for both Kieran and Merenia. A Hockey school inter-zone. Merenia Sstarted Mind Labs at school. Kieran started Correspondence Maths. Merenia had a Pyjama Party at Penguins.
