Merenia

Much like Kieran I don't have many photos of Merenia either. She also spends a lot of time in her room, doing who knows what. And when she's out of it she can most likely be found watching crap TV- not inspiring photo material.

I'm pleased to say she's changing, she's growing up and maturing. She's 'that kid' at school. The one the teacher gets to do the main part in the assembly, or asks to write something at the last minute for the class newsletter. She's the one that gets the Values award at the full school assembly for co-operation.

She still has her blonde moments at home- she recently adjusted her analogue clock because it didn't do leap years. And she takes way too long to tell a story and talks way way too much. She's still very argumentative but she's balancing it out with a lot more nicer moments and doing more around the place using her own initiative- which isn't something her bigger brother is likely to do any time soon. Prefering to be concerned with the fairness of his 'workload' and finding ways to do as little as possible.

She was really lucky this year to be selected for the State Music Programme which means she gets Guitar Tuition at school with a music teacher who comes in specifically. She is in a group with one other girl so really focused teaching! The little boys and I went out and brought her guitar one school day and she came home and picked it up and just played. Adapting stuff from her Ukulele playing.

Awesome Stuff Meres congratulations on being selected and I loved hear & watching you play. Grandad will be super proud & happy as he always wanted Sam or Finn to play the guitar. I'll get him to watch it tonight. Sylvia XX
