Lukes Fake Birthday Part 2- Fun and Games

The second part of Lukes Fake Birthday involved our traditional Christmas Punch, snacks- where we introduced Luke to the traditional Kiwi favourite- Maggi Soup mix dip and the game!

The chocolate game... I tried to edit the photos down but I just love everything that's going on- it just shows all the energy and fun that we had. If you've never played the chocolate game here's a quick description: You need 3+ players (the more the merrier) a large block of chocolate, Chopping board, knife and fork, a dice, and a number of items of clothing: we went with hat, scarf, socks worn on hands, and a head scarf worn around the wrist- it was too hot for the traditional jacket and too much size variation in the players. Players take turns rolling the dice. When a player rolls a six that player must put on all the clothes as fast as possible and then attempt to cut off a piece of chocolate and eat it with the knife and fork- the catch is that while they do this the rest of the players continue to take turns rolling the dice and if one gets a six then it then becomes their turn to get the gear on and try their luck.

I have to say I have never seen anyone quite so unlucky as Christy who rolled very few sixes and was stopped in her tracks moments before getting to the chocolate practically every time.

Afterwards Christy and Luke had a novel way of stretching out all the built up tension from the game... Will was once again impressed and in awe.
