Les took the 3 bigger kids up to Caversham Wildlife Park in the holidays (I know I'm a bit behind). It was technically Merenia's Birthday 'thing'. I.e. the thing you do for your birthday, in August, except they did it in January.
Kieran has a thing for Llamas.
And Goats.
Merenia has a thing for horses.
Les has a thing for Eagles and other birds of prey.
None of us really have a thing for Lizards.
The Koala keeper told everyone not to touch the Koalas food or to pat them with an open hand.
Someone (idiot) touched the food. But don't worry Will was there to dob them in. The Keeper said Will could come back anytime and be his helper.
Les said the Keeper obviously didn't have kids. Because if he did he'd know that 4 year olds take that sort of offer seriously!
Love that face. It's the one that says "Um, yeah, cool, a lizard. Back-uo NOW!"
Definitely a boy Wombat. Watch where you're putting your hand son.
This one is for my brother Sam. No Sam they didn't buy it for me!
