Tiny Tales from Week 6

Not an auspicious start to the week- the day started with a 5 hour power cut and ended at the Children's Hospital after Will split his head open on the platform of the flying fox at school.

We got to see the clown doctors- Will thought they were very cool- he was right!

Ouch!
The doctor took a look and then went off to get the plastics guy to make the final call on glue or stitches and left Will lying on the hospital bed with the light shining in his eyes. He said:
"Wow Mum! This is like being dead, without being dead at all."

Tama was highly concerned that Foxes can't 'bite' you after the incident... a little confused and worried. :-)

Will stayed home the next day just to take it easy....

After Morning tea in the 'bat cave' he and Tama were like Mountain Goats on the pile of concrete and tiles chucking rocks into the skip..... yep taking it easy.

Merenia said "a spider just ran across the floor" and she looked at my feet.
And then I caught this very angry and aggressive Wolf spider under the couch.

More progress on the backyard.... this really dragged on work started on the 23rd of January!

Plaster off. (He got glued not stitched).

Digger action with Daddy!

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery right??

After 6 weeks without a sandpit- he's relief was palpable and his joy was unbridled.

Another step in the process and another piece of heavy machinery!

Super Hero Fan

 Ahhhhhh sand AND water!

The great thing about the big kids getting themselves to and from school is that we can stay and play after school.
