Round-Up September 2013

On our bookshelf this month....

Me- Lots of Michael Connelly, and a few others Michael Robotham, Augusten Burroughs, and
Jeffery Deaver. The World's Strongest Librarian.
Tama- is big on Maisy and anything diggers at the moment.
Will is reading Star Wars, Batman and Spiderman.
Kieran is starting to work his way through Stephen King.
Merenia is reading Heidi
Les has some military history stuff on the go.

Loving on the box....

Masterchef finished. Survivor is back. Kieran is watching The Dome. We started watching Game of Thrones.

Father's Day gifts for Les. Sports albums for our coaches and helpers.

Germs and bugs and botherations....

Les was sick enough to make a Dr's visit. Both Tama and Will had a couple of sick days. I fell over and trashed my knees and severely hurt my finger. Tama got his finger squished in the door. I fell over running out of school in the rain landing hard on the concrete path. I hurt both my knees and bent my finger pulling some muscles in the process.

Today was good today was fun, tomorrow is another one...

Checking out the 'Dinosaur diggers' with Tama on the Leech and Tonkin Highways. Watching Merenia run in the Faction Carnival. Merenia had a sleepover at Emily's. Storm Chasing with Will. The Team Hockey wind-up and 'Brownlow' style presentation. Cailee came for a sleepover. Merenia had a Netball sleepover and the next day the club wind-up. Watching Merenia and Akira in Snow White and the 7 Dreadful Dwarves. Open Night at Will's school. Tama and I spent a couple of hours on the building site having a big explore. Merenia had a sleepover the road. Merenia went camping with the neighbours. Les went flying. Les took the boys to the Airforce Museum. Kieran went to his friend Michaels for a Pizza making lunch.

Yum, yum, yum....

Tama and I read Maisy Makes Lemonade- and made lemonade! Ikea Meatballs and gravy at home. Les made Pumpkin Doughnuts and Pumpkin Cheesecake. Dr Who Gingerbread.

'It was on sale'....

Will got Lego Batman DC Super Heroes for the PC. We got some cool Dr Who stuff from Epic Loots. We did a smallish shop at Ikea. Merenia got new clothes- including jeans. Lego and Star Wars from the Toys'r'us sale. Will brought a cool volcano kits at the year 7 toy sale.

Bugger!

I totally muffed one of the pages in the netball albums and had to redo- and it was the coaches daughter!

Hooray!

I won a spot in 'Book of Stories' a Big Picture class. The weather has been steadily picking up and we actually had a few nice days! Finally getting caught up on a bunch of stuff now that sport is done for the winter. Club Hockey wind-up and Kieran got Coaches Choice award. I did lots of scrapbooking for the BPC classes I am doing. Tama did a pooh in the toilet.

Etc...

The Hockey, Netball and Soccer seasons finished. Merenia has been rehearsing at Darling Range. Kieran had his school sports day. We had the Hermit Crabs for the weekend- Will got nipped. Kieran, Will and I got haircuts. Merenia had her first official (short lived) 'relationship' with Terkani. Tama had his neurology appointment finally. Merenia did squad trials. We started collecting Woolworths animal cards. We had the birds for the holidays. School holidays started.
