In the city

This was another step in the path to Tamas birth. A few days after the Ultrasound we had an appointment at Maternal Foetal Medicine at Auckland Hospital. Because we were going into the city- Les combined the trip with a stop at the Australian Embassy to put in his passport application. The building itself was intense (weird elevator system) and the embassy and the people there even more so. Both the security guards with their bag searches and metal detectors. The ladies working there behind the screens- no cameras, no cell phones on etc etc. And all the people on the 'visa side' waiting to see if they can get a 'golden ticket' into Australia.

After the embassy we went to the down town mall food court and had Indian for lunch... way too much indian for someone sharing her belly with a 38 weeker. :-)

We also checked out the Rugby World Cup countdown clock. And on the way home we checked out a dairy in Te Atatu which we had been lead to believe had a supreme lolly stash- it was a let down. So we headed back towards home and got Fraps to round out the day.
