I have been away from my computer for the last couple of days so the montage is short the last two days which I'll sort soon.I can't believe that Will is already 3- it's pretty crazy to think how much he has grown and it blows us away to think how much he knows!! Just this morning he was looking at a book on space while I was busy doing something else. He got really grumpy with me because I wasn't listening when he asked "Is this where we live?!" In the end he yelled:
"MUM Is THIS the Earth?" I finally turned around and confirmed that yes he was right... I don't even remember teaching him that so it must have been a glancing conversation and he just retains it all these days.
Here are some things you may or may not know about Will at three:
And "Tieran"He can't quite get his tongue around the letter K or the sound 'st' this presents a problem when he is talking about Kieran's Hockey Stick which we sometimes use to retrieve stuff under the couch:
"Look Mum I've got the Dick! Get it with the Dick!"
He is adept with a hammer.
And has made great inroads to researching the ice age.
He excels at cool.
He is a budding marine biologist.
And is he career in science falls through he has a love of and talent for cleaning the sides of the car- if not the top.
He is a great study in design and architecture and bears a huge resemblance to a young...
King Kong!
He approaches all tasks with exuberance. He has a sophisticated sense of humour for an almost three year old. He can dead pan a one liner with the best of them.
"Ok now shut-up Merenia."
He is completely enamoured with his Grandad and his grandad's worm farm.
He is friendly and often engages complete strangers in conversation.
He likes to give his big sister the bash- often.
He is very questionable character as far as my parents dog Bentley is concerned.
And he is a vile little toad as far as our cat, Ruby, is concerned.
He is very astute as far as family dynamics go. Will does not want a tiny baby in our family; "Just Will!" And refuses to chose a preference in the girl/boy debate.
He is not great at sharing.
He is ready for Kindy or something, anything... day care holds a fascination as all our smaller neighbours go there during the day.
He is the only 2 year old I know who asks to go op-shopping.
Not surprisingly, he has a love of all things Air Craft and Air Force related.
He knows the New Zealand Flag and has a huge level of excitement on seeing said flag:
"MUM, MUM it's a NU ZEEland FLAG. We live in NU ZEEland!!"
He is too darn cute for his parents good.
