Will is super into going to Hockey when they are playing on field 2 as there is a great big hill there that he likes to roll down. As he does it he sings:
"Rolling Down The Sandhills, Rolling Down The Sandhills"
Finally- Kieran got a Haircut. We took a photo in to the Hairdresser which she then completely ignored- because this Hairdo which is quite nice is nothing like the picture!! At least he can see now though and we can see his eyes again- yipee!
Each year the Auckland Free Flight Club holds a Control Line Competition at Whenuapai- it had originally been held on the base but when they couldn't fly there anymore Les suggested the school. This year Les, Will and Merenia went to check it out.
Thanks to Kym and Marie Webby Merenia got to have a turn flying a model and was apparently something of a natural.
She seriously enjoyed it and is super keen to try again. ♥
The garden at the moment is looking awesome- thanks to Nana it was super easy to weed and get planted out and I got in the sweetpeas, sunflowers and a small mix of other flowering plants back in September/October. These photos were taken in November when the Wisteria was coming to it's flowering end and the Cherry Blossom had just started it's somewhat late blooming for the year.
In November Kieran had a Monday off school in lieu of the Saturday spent at the school Gala. He went to Jakes and Merenia went to Alyssa's and Jozlyn was kind enough to have Will over at lunch time so me and Les could go out for lunch. The Eggs Benedict were crap but the company was fabulous and it was really nice to hang out together while not feeling dog tired and not wrangling Will. ♥
At much the same time as Vienna was celebrating being one- Les and the kids were helping Ehren celebrate the very same thing on the other side of town at his place with a pile of presents and a Fish and Chip dinner. Once again the pictures pretty much tell the story here too....
Miss Vienna turned 1 in November and I joined her and family and friends at the Botanic Gardens for good fun and cute food.... the photos really speak for themselves- it was lovely much like V.
