Evolution of the backyard

When we first moved into this place the back lawn had not been watered for at least a month and it was all as brown as the patches between the green you see there. That green is a result of 14 days of regular watering. The back corner behind Tama was just dry dusty dirt as were the edges and all but one corner.

Then the handyman came and tried to Jack hammer up the tiles above which were cracked and uneven. He realised after making a decent hole that the jack hammer just wasn't going to cut it- literally.

So for the next 10 days we had cracked and uneven tiles and a big hole. Then the solution to the jack hammer problem came.

And that left us with an extended (unplayable) sand pit for the next 15 days. And even less grass that we started with.

But at least the paving looked good.

Then we got 6 metres of really good lawn for $60 on a Saturday.

Then we got 10 metres of really amazing lawn for free on a Tuesday after work. It needs to be laid asap, and not sit around on our 37 degree days.

That was awesome!

And then on a Friday night we got another 10 metres of pretty good lawn for $60 on a Friday night which we laid on a Saturday morning.

And now we have this which is super, super cool!
