Out and about Kings Park

Last term the Kindy classes from Will's school went on an excursion to AQWA (the aquarium) and then went to Kings Park to have their lunch afterwards. Tama and I met Will at Kings Park and sat with them while they had lunch. Then we played on the Ivey Watson playground till the kindy kids left. The Playground has multiple areas that the kids can play in and is pretty huge. It was a beautiful day and there was another school group there as well- so heaps of kids but it didn't seem over crowded. I think the school chose this playground because it is fully fenced so there is only a small area that needs to be policed to prevent escapees, not that I can imagine any of the kids taking off from the playground it is pretty cool.

After they left we went and checked out the baby part of the Ivey Watson....

Yes he's falling down in that picture.

Then we jumped into the car and went to the Synergy play area and checked that out as well.
They have a cool pond with an island you can walk to which includes this 'spray forest'.

And these super huge prehistoric australian animal sculptures. We had a lovely afternoon and went home exhausted.
