Round-Up~ September 2011

On our bookshelf this month....
Merenia started reading Harry Potter at Chris and Teresa's house. Kieran's started reading them too. I finished reading The Rhythm of Family by the Amanda Blake-Soule and Steve Soule... way cool! Les has been reading procedures manuals and other such exciting stuff. And Will was pleased to get all his books back when the movers came. And we've all spent a bit of time perusing the Ikea catalogue.
Loving on the box....
Dr Who, The Slap, One Born Every Minute, Survivor, 9/11 special, Rugby World Cup games, ABC for Kids especially; Octonauts, Play school, Canimals, Sesame St, and (curse you!!) Mister Maker!
For you...For me?
Merenia got a clock from Teresa and Kaio. As well as some horses, books, lollies and a bike for her postponed birthday. We got a LOT of new furniture, white ware and so on most of it came from Ikea! :-) We got a Wii technically for Les- a late birthday gift which we all enjoy.
A bunch of flowers from our landlady.

Germs and bugs and botherations....
Will's conjunctivitis dragged on, Tama had a cold, and most of the skin on my hands peeled off.
Today was good today was fun, tomorrow is another one...

Les started at Bristow. We got our rental application approved. Moving into the house. The day our stuff turned up. Chilling at Erskine for a couple of weeks- playing on the lawn, bike rides, Kangaroos and such.

Yum, yum, yum....

Dinner at Chris and Teresa's, Ikea Meatballs, Ikea cooked brekky.

'It was on sale'....

Fridge, Freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, Beds x4 (including KING size!!), Wii and games, TV's, 2 laptops, and a LOT of shelves!!!

Bugger!

The car broke down and some dick smashed the window on it too. We had a stressful time house hunting. It's hard work keeping a 3 year old from trashing some one else's rental when you have a baby! My record keeping was really poor due to overwhelm and exhaustion!

Hooray!

Getting a primo house and landlady. Being rescued by Chris and Teresa.

Etc...

Merenia started at Wattle Grove.

You know who's good idea this was? Katie The Scrapbook Lady. Go check out her list of tasks to do at the end of each month as well.
