This is the week we grew tired, learned much, saw much, did much, ate much, and yet seemed to get nowhere....
I enjoyed our surroundings and the son, the sun and I rose early...
We reflected on the awesomeness of a still river in the early morning glow.
We spent a lot of time doing this....
Traded an old coffee habit for an even older one. (I had one of these each day I was pregnant with Merenia- no wonder I gained so much weight and she never slept much as a baby).
Crossed bridges...
...entered tunnels...
and ended up in heaven.....
Took unexpected detours and enjoyed the architecture... old...
new...
and not quite done...
Saw the mighty Wacca and no doubt one dreamed of visiting as well.
Were reminded of home.
But called this place home...
Took a walk on the riverside....
And stopped for a long distance snap...
A spot of exercise....
And some alfresco energising...
Made shadows in the setting suns warm light
Paid cash for our new car....
And boggled at the alternatives to buying a car....
and imagined having it all... or even just a little....
Drove in WA for the first time...
...with a little help.
Said goodbye to the rental...
and hello to a Nana nap (or two).
Saw the ultimate vehicle to take to scrap camp....
... it even had my name on it....
Watched models flip, spin and turn in the setting sun.
Decided I could never tire of the setting sun in this western state.
Wrote home about it....
Ate $1 cheese burgers one too many times or more...
Mystified a Magpie. (look behind you!!!!)
And met one mother with a VERY large family (19).
Got up close and personal with another local.
Took it easy.....
....and enjoyed.
Bamboozled the locals with our crazy antics... swimming in September, must be mad...
or Kiwi's (it was a 24 degree day!!)
Discovered the perils of land sharks.
And hoped and prayed for a lottery win.... if you can't have a real horse then this must be the next best thing....
