Right Now

Right now I am:

~ looking at paring down for the year ahead.
~ loving cooler days after a couple of 40's last week.
~ thankful for fire fighters in the south of the state working hard on a bushfire in one of my favourite places.
~ inspired by having taken a lot off my list.
~ savouring the feeling that comes from culling our belongings.
~ reading Aurora's End by Jay Kristoff (love him!) and Amy Kaufman. The wonderful Jackie French's Miss Lily's Lovely Ladies series
. And various books on Birding and the top end.
~ swooning over 49 & Market Scrapbook papers- new favourite company seeing as how the others have all gone into the winds of time.
~ enjoying cheese. All sorts of cheese.
~ feeling freeish.
~ counting the days till Christmas.
~ tasting bacon and eggs.
~ wondering, always.
~ making lots of scrapbook pages and a few Christmas cards- just for fun.
~ wishing for the Covid bullshit to be behind us, the good, the bad, the border rules and the damn Premier.
~ hoping for more plants and copic markers.
~ glad. Yes I am.
~ listening to First Aid Kit ~ The Lions Roar and Drunken Trees (Love both) and the new Billie Ellish (It's growing on me)

~ relieved to have realised that I need to spend these last few days of the school term relaxed at home.
~ seeing my garden start to bloom.

~ dreaming of days spent reading real and e-books. Too many audio books this year.
~ thinking and reflecting, and then stopping thinking and reflecting.

~ anticipating swimming in the holidays as much as possible.
~ going nowhere today- hooray!!
~ feeding the birds (hush, don't tell anyone!)
~ grateful for new facebook friends.
~in awe at nature always.
