I took this pic a few weeks back- because things are gonna change- our brand of milk is going to be different, we won't have any Cheese factory Curry dressing (damn it!)... no Watties tomato sauce, no Tui-mato either....in fact we're not even going to have the same fridge! So the fridge tells a story- a story of our life right now.
We took all the magnets off not long after this too... and while I love the magnets I also love the clean whiteness of an clear fridge... makes me wonder if I'll put so many back up in Perth?? Of course the magnets tell a story too... of where we've been, and where we are.... and in the case of the menu plan- what's coming up. :-)
The everyday stuff in your life changes without pomp and ceremony. It just happens like life itself. We don't see it as it goes... and it's impact seems small or nothing at all.... but over time all the stories add up to the big story of our lives. And the everyday stuff becomes just as important as the big things... like leaving your friends and family behind so that you can gaze upon another washing line in another back yard and make more stories.
