This was our last week of Christy and Luke and they were very busy with shows before they left so the time seemed to fly by. Not without a bit of fun though....
They made us a super yummy dinner on their last night- two curry's a milder one for the kids and a fairly hot one for the grown-ups. Will was of course their super willing assistant.
This pic is from Christy's iPhone. Her and Will had an adventure at the Red Dot store while Kieran was getting a Hair cut- they checked out the hats for Australia day.
Early morning walks brought great sunrises over the Hills- awesome. And great sounds and smells when you are up that early on a summer morning.
Christy and Lukes last day was the kids first day back at school. And Will's first day in the Kindy class at Wattle Grove. He had some pretty mixed emotions- excited for Kindy and super sad about the impending departure. He was great when we got to Kindy and settled really easily with no real issues with me leaving.
The sting of getting home to a Luke and Christy free house was lifted a little by the arrival of a letter from Jimmy Giggle and Hoot the Owl from ABC for kids.
Tama continued to resist the touch of nature! He hated the feel of the grass on his skin and showed extreme strength and endurance in keeping his skin above ground.
Will, Tama and I took a drive down to Armadale shopping center to try and complete a couple of missions at the shops. They have a pretty cool playground down there which we enjoyed.
I also checked out the supposed Frapuccino replacement- not a patch on the real thing- I won't be going back for more.
With Will at Kindy I started to work on Tamas day sleeps in his cot- with very little success.
I finally met up with Michelle who I met via Facebook and her boy Leon. Who we also babysat that night. We had an awesome time playing in the back yard after dinner...
LOVE this photo of the boys.
The start of Kindy brought a new passion for exploring letters and writing for Will. In his detectives hat of course- what else?
