Playroom

Since we changed up our dining room a few things weren't working like having the school cupboard beside that white cupboard with the g on it. And the Making Table in this space wasn't working either. On top of that we changed our other L shaped lounge to accommodate the Christmas Tree and that caused some changes for the better to how we used the room. So I refined the changes with the help of the big kids we got it all done in the space of a few hours... moved 3 cupboards full of stuff and two book shelves as well!

Now the playroom takes up the long side of the lounge and the making table is in it. We seem to be getting less trashing of the table. Less toys in the main walkway. And in general more playing happening. It's a much nicer space as well- light and airy.

Meanwhile this has become a cosy enclosed corner and this lounge gets used much more often. It's great because that's where the air con is on hot days. And I think it will work better in the winter as well. Since we moved it- we are more likely to find people gathered together- rather than the bigs in their rooms.
