Tiny Tales Untold 2012 Week 18

I imagine that having Pelicans flying overhead is a lot like what it would have been to live in the same time period as Pterodactyls. They are crazy big especially when they are down low. Of all the bird life they are the hardest to get used too seeing flying around.

Kieran's Hockey games are predominantly played on a field that is right in the flight path of the airport so planes overhead are a regular feature. I have started collecting pictures of them for Will (and Tama who is a mad keen 'plane spotter') to make up some sort of a reference of the planes we see. Hockey is at 8:30am on Sunday mornings so just K and I go to the games but sometime I'll have to take the little boys as well because they'd love this spectacle!

Where's the baby?

Here's the baby..... and he's so darn cute.

Quite a pit of lego action around these parts lately mainly towers and aviation related stuff. This is some sort of platform car they used in an 'International Rescue' on Thunderbirds- no surprises there.

This is Will working on his version of the 'Fire Flash'. from..... yeah Thunderbirds.

Still working, with assistance.

We should have shares in sello tape.

Here's Tama waving the flag.... the Thunderbirds flag.

And here's Will with the Fire Flash completed with my assistance- (stupidest Wing/Tail configuration for an aircraft ever!) And look below.... it's Thunderbirds on Telly with  Will watching the Fire Flash while flying the Fire Flash. I tells ya the Thunderbirds excitement never ends around here. I expect his costume must have been in the wash or he would have been in that too!

Tama is becoming quite a whizz in the kitchen... the Ikea kitchen that is.... if only he could really cook- then he'd be able to contribute more than just cuteness and sleep deprevation!

Merenia at Netball on a rare wet day and Will and the playground at the courts. He likes to go and try and meet up with his friend another Netball kids younger brother his name is Tama! Quite possibly this is the day that Les called me from Netball to let me know he'd LOST our son. Hmmmm ok babe that plan has potential but I think you'll probably need to consider the execution a bit better. Best you find him for now and we'll try again later somewhere less public. But seriously I wasn't sure what he expected me to say or do. Turns out Will had gone to check the inside courts for 'his' Tama. Les had him announced over the PA and some kind stranger delivered him to the desk. :-) Good thing we haven't hammered home the 'Stranger Danger' message too hard. Of course there's not much point in telling Will much of anything- he already knows it all, apparently.
