This year for pie day I made a hearty Beef Pie with chips.
They both looked good. But no one was all that impressed with the taste.
For the desert pie I made a Apple Berry Crumble top pie.
Once again- it looked good and I kid of liked how it tasted but in general people weren't all that keen.
I had some left over pastry so I spread it with vegemite
Sprinkled on some grated cheese.
Layered it and topped with an egg wash and Parmesan Cheese.
Then baked it.
And everyone loves them- they're totally more-ish. Much easier to make than pie. Fairly cheap too and now we have them all the time. There's only one drawback... they go way too fast.
