The boys year started at Kings Park- they headed out with Les for the day so I could work on packing the house and getting my Daily December done before we got caught up in the thick of the move. It was good for them to get in some good quality boy-ing before things got busy and bothersome.
From KIngs Park they went to Scitech where it was so quiet they got to build the whole wall and enjoy a bunch of other stuff with out any wait or competition.
Awesome team work!
Meanwhile back at home Kieran did some cleaning and Merenia pulled stuff out of the kitchen cupboards for me to wrap and pack.
Moving had some fun and cute moments!
On the third we hired a van from Bunnings and the hard slog began. Les and the big kids loaded, drove and unloaded 8 times!
I admitted the reality of the move and packed the last room on the schedule... goodbye awesome scraproom!
Mid-move snacking- day 2 I think- 7 more loads as well as picking up a new bed for Kieran and four sleepers for the new sandpit. And a little break for the agents to do an open home... the less said about how pissed off I was about that the better!
Some time at the new house for unpacking and organising.
Last minute yard work.
Moving truck Monday! If you are going to self move I think this is the best way to do it. We moved everything that we could and then Monday the fastest movers in town came and did in 3 hours what would have taken all day for us.... mattresses, chests of drawers, pantry cupboards, dining table and all the whiteware.
First breakfast at the new place.
And the first sunset too.
Phew... what a week!
