Week 50 saw the PP's do their school assembly.
Will (above behind the mic) delivered his lines beautifully. That said we were a little sad because after all the practice he put in he lost the lovely sing-songy way that he was saying his Italian teacher's name with. He said:
"Hi my name is Will and this is my friend Viktoria. Thank you Senora De Pieri Tentori for teaching us another language." I'm sure there was another line but as I write Will is asleep and no one else in the house can remember it.
They sang a cool song in Italian and also played the chime bells to a Christmas carol. And finished by asking the whole school to dance with them to "Let's Get Ridiculous!"
Tama enjoyed all this with his friend- one of the little sisters of the class. Then when they were done we raced off to the Library to await Santa's annual visit. We haven't done Story time this year as Tama isn't big on sitting still and proves to be too big a distraction for the other listeners. But we couldn't miss Chris' last story time and Santa's visit.
While we were there we missed the after-assembly parents morning tea- but Mrs Mulligan saved me some of her apparently famous Christmas puddings- not for kids or recovering alcoholics!
One evening was spent at Kieran's school for the LEAP graduation. I got to see a rather lacklustre piece of work by Kieran and a friend.
Kieran demoed some sciency stuff for me. I had a really good chat with the principal which made a change because normally I feel like senior management choose the better dressed or more well known parents to chat too.
Took surreptitious photos of Kieran's friends.
Watched the lad graduate from his extension programme....
..... top of the class!
And enjoyed chatting with this lovely bunch of young people.
And then the next day..... HELLO! Starbucks from my friend Narry in the states- totally awesome!!!!
The diggers are back to clean up the mess!
The 'dinosaur' attachment is one of our faves.
But you can't go past a good bucket without a photo.
And this monster is a LOG HOG- we missed seeing it in action unfortunately.
On graduation day Noah came to play while Bel took the girls to get their make-up done.
My boys all got their Saturday best on. :-)
Noah joined the family for a while.
Tama got my small camera and proceeded to fill it will 300+ rubbish photos of the floor ceiling and people we didn't know sitting in front, behind and beside us.
And the odd half decent photo of people we did know.
Periodically Bel and Les took the little boys outside to blow off steam. It was a long ceremony and sitting is not something Tama or Noah do well- Will's not so bad- but does get dragged along with the nutter crowd (aka Noah and Tama).
The next day the kids decorated their mini trees.
And we had our 5th annual mixed up dinner.
This is the order I ate my meal in.... nothing like starting pavlova and ending with fruit salad
Random photo of Hummus.
A rare shot of 6 in the car!
Hello Santa 2013- not too bad.
Post Santa- advent calendar treat of the day Frozen Sprites- aka lets get everyone hyped on sugar and food colouring MacDonald's style.

We baked for the kids teachers this year- Macarons (Salted Caramel, Passionfruit, and Raspberry with chocolate filling) and Chocolate Brownies. Plus Chocolate dipped strawberries.
All delivered in these super cute boxes!!
We found out we had our tenancy application accepted on this place!
And were excited for the possibilities of these trees plus our boys and us.
And unaware of the joys that would behold us in septic tank land! :-)
