Tiny Tales Week 5

The first part of the week was taken up with last minute school shopping and prep.

And a sick baby... fevers suck in 35deg temps!

It was nice to have some extra hands to hold sad babies though.

Our lawn has taken a hammering over summer.... I don't know why Perth people bother to have a front lawn... it's a waste of money and water!

Les took Will out to one of their favourite haunts. The Eiffel Cafe in Kalamunda where will likes to enjoy a Macaron.  I can't remember the details but Les told me they had an interesting conversation regarding Darth Vader's possible interest in Macarons and the Eiffel tower.

Will brought himself some Angry Birds games with his Christmas money.

And there was lots of strenuous outdoor play.

Tama doesn't care that there are some things a 5 year old can do that a toddler shouldn't.... he just attempts them any way... he's something of a dare devil and also very strong.... I hope Les' heart is also strong because he doesn't quite have Tama's confidence.

Bananas seem to be very unstable in the popularity ratings at our house one day can see 6 just disappear... and other days they will be left alone until Banana bread is the only option... perhaps this is actually a cunning plan!

School started back and we now have three kids in three different schools... this is a little exhausting.

Will started Pre-primary... which is pretty much just Year 0 in Australia. His Teacher and TA are super, super, super amazingly wonderful!

I love that he is so confident!

They have birds and hermit crabs the latter being Wills obsession and the former being Tamas.

Straight to the computer! Tama in a very cute supporting row.

After we left Will Tama and I went to the mall to have a treat. It didn't turn out to be much of a treat as he was pretty much devastated at the loss of his brother.
"Wool? Wool?"
As a constant companion for all of his memory I guess it was a bit of a change. But I was kind of surprised as Will can also be a real pain always wanting the toy T has just picked up and such. And sometimes he can be downright mean.... but even with all that Tama really missed him and it took a few weeks for him to realise that having Mum all to himself was actually a pretty good gig!

This looks like it would have been great... I wouldn't know because due to Tamas complete melt down we had to leave the mall and it had a complete meltdown also by the time we got home.
