The big kids in our house go through phases of hanging out mostly in their rooms or if we are lucky deigning to visit on the rest of us in the house. The little kids in our house are always delighted when this happens.
Kieran, who I think maybe sub-consciously realises that he has limited time left of this sort of hanging out, or perhaps has just matured, is a lot more patient. As a result a lot more involved with these guys. He'll listen to Tama's endless questions and stories. And he'll happily assist Will with whatever his latest Pokemon Issue is.
Merenia's involvement is more likely down to the whims of her moods but she did recently teach Will to knit and stared him off knitting a scarf (and then completed about 90% of the scarf just 'helping'). Maybe she'll mature too... I hope so, because this doing stuff together is nice.
