The fact that the US government can keep spouting the same shit year after year when this is what happens on their patch blows my mind.... Wrong Answer: In an era of high-stakes testing, a struggling school made a shocking choice.
Something tasty for me to try: Tumeric Tea at IQS.
Talking about IQS- they do a whole bunch of e-books... I'm not a fan of e-books, especially when it comes to recipes so I am pretty excited about their Pozible Project to produce the IQS Kids recipe book on paper... you can pledge A$35 and get the book posted to you when it's printed!
And one more from IQS... I don't think this is horrific but the truth behind school canteen approved snacks is interesting... I think WA may have stricter rules than the rest of Aus because Will's school lunch list is fairly bland.

By the time this posts we will be out of biscuits. On the verge of running out of lunch box bars... and not planning on buying any more I need some sugar free ideas for the little boys to eat. Here's what I found...
On Pinterest....
My Board: Healthy Kids
This one I like for the pictures: 30 Days of school lunches... no repeats.
And this: School Lunch Fun. And Healthy Kid Lunches. And Healthy Kid's Lunch Ideas.
In other spots...
Kids Paleo Lunches.
This great Flickr Album.
Here's this weeks Etsy Shopping list (for when we win the lottery of course)... I may have gone a little over the top! I have linked the images.
First stop Bellehibou I like a lot of stuff in this store...
I curated myself some art...
I'm not sure if it's winter, too much time at home with the kids, or too much time away from NZ. But I have a yearning to travel at the moment... so this appealed greatly!
As did this Gypsy Caravan for similar and different reasons. :-)
I'm a sucker for anything with a vintage camera- I don't care that they are currently trendy I've loved them since they weren't vintage and always will so this brooch and necklace both appealed. :-)
These are what I would choose for someone I know who is soon to have a baby if that baby ends up being a little girl and if that was ok. I like the top one best but the one with the houses is pretty cute too.
I chose a variety of silly things for myself at Weeping Grove because I like to be silly.
And seriously how cute is that kitten!
And who does need a fish on a plate necklace?
And it would totally be set off by the Sushi on a plate ring!
And then I can perch this little dear atop my head... nestled into my hair to keep cosy. :-)
Following along on the travelling theme I'd like this for a key ring, from Girlie Girl Novelties.
And this one from Trail and Compass- isn't Wanderlust the coolest word? Really it is.
This one for when I might return to Scrapbook camp sometime to wear on my pyjamas for a full four days of scrapbooking!
My heart skipped a little beat when I saw this and my head totally read it in the newsreaders voice from Baz Luhrman's Romeo and Juliet- one of my favourite movies OF ALL TIME!
Last but not least on my weeks wishlist- I've been looking for a decent map of the world stamp I've found a couple but everyone seems to short change the most important country... New Zealand. I have done a fairly exhausting search but if you know of anything or if you spy anything let me know. The set above is a Hero Arts stamp for Basic Grey called My Favourite- I still think there must be something better. :-)
That's my week on the web not very exciting but I'm trying to cut back.
That is all.
♥
