So Merenia turned 12! It wasn't until after I ordered the balloons that she declared a dislike for pink and 'girly' stuff- luckily none of her gifts fitted that description.
On the weekend after her birthday she invited 3 of the girls from school for a sleepover. They chose a bunch of DVD's and also went for a couple of walks/bike rides down to the school. They made their own pizzas for dinner and Merenia even made her own red velvet cake.
Les, Kieran and Will all went down to Mandurah to watch the Bledisloe Match with Chris and Teresa.
Back at home there was a lot of dancing and hilarity. Luckily they went to sleep with very few issues. And even slept in the next morning.
