This week we cleaned up so we could move in.....
Made the best of what we had....
Who needs a bed when you have Dad. And who needs an armchair when you have a microwave box.
We went shopping- with a trailer!!!
Enjoyed more meatballs before buying up large...
I did mention the trailer right???
Went all 'Princess and the pea' when all but one had a bed....
Enjoyed a first night, with a new light.... (and bed, and stool, and pillow)
Constructed a little something for the future....
Lounged in a very spartan manner...
With an unspartan telly!! (51 inches baby!)
Finally brought Les his birthday present....
Which he kindly consented to share....
And was soon enjoyed by all.....
Read manuals and instructions....
And worked together on more constructions.....
Had a visitor come to deliver a package or 2 or 3 or two hundred and forty two.....
Looked at the list and checked it twice or 242 times.....
All mucked in to get things done...
Filled up the garage....
And the 'formal lounge'...
And the 'hub'
And the driveway....
And the kitchen....
And worked to get it all put in place and put together....
Ate our first meal at the dinner table....
And relaxed while mothers worked around us...
Worked to reduce the packed to unpacked ratio.....
Slept.
Played (and slept some more).
Celebrated a month later....
And a bit more construction... but much more fun....

Yay for seeing all the pics and video of the house and seeing the progress. Has Will just done a huge grown up? He suddenly looks so much older in the pics. Glad you are settling in so well. Look forward to more photos soon.
