Over the past few months we have spent a lot of HOURS watching the process of house removal going on down the end of our road. The houses were vacated last year and the land given over to Hobsonville Land Company who are developing the old Hobsonville Air base. And now they are being picked up and trucked off. Will enjoys watching this process but is a bit perturbed by the prospect of the same thing happening to our house in the future. Of course he won't be here to see it- but I get his point it's a sad sight for those of us who live here and just another nail in the coffin of the RNZAF being a good employment prospect... it's a good time to get out.
It's also been a great opportunity for some 'boying' and tool spotting.
