I'm so behind in blogging the stories of our lives I know that because these photos come from January when Les took the kids down to Te Aroha for the "Weekend" so I could have kidfree scrapbook and relax-a-thon. I say weekend because they were back early afternoon on the Sunday- that says a lot about what there is to do in Te Aroha on a Sunday and how much fun it is to be in close proximity to L's Mum. :-)
They of course caught up with Nana and got their Christmas Pressies... she should save her $6 and buy herself a lotto ticket instead.
Caught up with Auntie Helen and her 'friend' at a cafe where they had some interesting drinks.
Did the rounds of the local playgrounds and I believe went to the Hot pools.
Did a great impression of Jeff the Purple Wiggle at Aunty Kathy's
Improved Kathy's fitness and kept the dog busy too.
And no doubt risked life and limb doing totally unsensible and dangerous things with Nana's 'precious' possessions. Gotta watch those driveway bricks you could take an eye out.
Meanwhile I read blogs, stayed up late and slept late, scrapbooked a bit but balanced it with other good stuff. Ate well and drank well too all in the fine company of the cat. Ahhhhhhhhhhh.
