Presently- 23-2-14

Presently....

~ looking at a small backyard full of delicious new grass.

~ listening to the great New Zealand Song Book- so glad I got the CD player fixed.

~ relieved to have the workmen gone.

~ hoping for a small (or big) miracle.

~ wondering how to help a friend.
~ inspired to do something for others.
~ reading The Unchangeable Spots of Leopards.

~ going nowhere- it's good. 
~ feeling a little down.
~ counting down the minutes till bedtime for small people.
~ tasting fruit and vegetable juices- Tama and I are on a sampling mission.
~ wishing a lot.

~ anticipating the arrival of something to put my word front and centre next week.

Tiny Tales from Week 4

Tama got a hold of the baby bedtime powder, smelled great- looked 'interesting'.

We started the l-o-n-g process of farewelling the back patio tiles. It included a visit from Adam Ant (whose name really is Adam, but not ant) to spray for wasps.

Duplo fun.

Window comparison the one on the left is so clean it looks like it isn't there. The one on the right has had it's cleanliness attended to by small grubby humans.

"THIS is how I like my hair spiked up Mum" Will was dissatisfied with his hairdressers efforts.

Some male bonding.

Australia Day sunset.

Watching for fireworks.

Some wasted time and effort on my part... seemed like a good idea.

Not 6 year old friendly apparently.

Dog tired... he's given up afternoon sleeps, already. 

On the plus side he's not up till 9:30pm any more.

On the downside he's too tired too eat dinner some days.

On the plus side he is out to it 2 minutes after his head hits the pillow.

And ducking on the part of the photographer.

And the remains of a long dead lizard.... both cool and gross at the same time.

365 Week 4

Mid week Wonderful ~ 19/2/14

I'm grateful for... freshly laid grass.

I'm thankful to be inspired by... this new place.

I'm savouring....my time alone at summer hockey. It's so much better to have time alone before it gets too late in the day.

I'm loving... Tama's confidence and joy in the pool.

I'm looking forward to.... a bit of a trip around on Friday.

Tiny Tales from Week 3

The 2013 365 Book arrived from Snapfish- I love it, so does Tama.

The boy child got obsessed with Minecraft, thanks to the girl child. Grrrrr.

Odd jobs outside with an unhelpful helper.

One of my favourite feelings in the world is the one I get when one kid is using the reading corner- it grows exponentially when there are two.

 

Semi-kid free day for mum meant an outing for Daddy and the little boys. :-)
