Will's Currents

 

Will's teacher had the children each put together a few things for a time capsule. She will give them back to the kids at the end of year 6- their last year of Primary School.

Will chose a Lego Clone Trooper. And we added the family photo for this year and a photo of the first time he met his teacher Mrs Mulligan. And we wrote a list of his 'currents'.....

Loving.... Lego DC Super Heroes and Blitwingers videos on You Tube.

Loathing.... going home from school because there is so many cool things to play with.

Drinking.... milk.

Eating.... Ice Cream

Making.... picture for Blitzer.

Listening.... 'Something in the Water'.

Reading...... reading books (especially Batman).

Wanting.... remote control Dalek battle pack and all the lego sets in the world.

Looking forward to.... my 6th Birthday, The Day of the Doctor (50th Anniversary) and Star Wars Episode 7.

Watching.... Power Rangers.

Friends.... Lyric, Lincoln, Randolph, Lucas, Hamish.

Thinking.... about winning $1000.

Favourite thing to do at home.... going on the computer on Fridays after school.

When I grow up.... I want to be a Scientist and a new Star Wars Character.

Learning... about vitamins.

Going.... to Scitech for my birthday

Wishing.... for a silver Power Ranger Sword with a red dot in the middle of the handle.

Thankful for.... I am glad that I got Star Wars Lego for Easter.

Tiny Tales from Week 47

This week is pretty light on photos because there were so many they deserved their own posts!

My kit arrived from Cocoa Daisy- I'm ready to go for my Daily December Album!

Tama and I saw this HUGE drill- it wasn't working at the time- we'd love to see it in action.

Macca's Frozen Sprites are BAD in the best way and we've been slowly trying various different combo's of flavours out with Apple & Grape and Pineapple & Grape being the current front runners.

Big Colour Disco for Will at school- Party Rocking in the House Tonight, Let's get Ridiculous and What does the Fox say? being the big winners of the night..... seems we've moved beyond Bob the Builder for the younger set.

Will's class had a Magician visit and they made some super cool magic wands with wool, sticks and feathers afterwards.

I got one and a half kid free days!! I spent the first day blogging/writing stories. And the half day working on my baby clothes quilt. These are pieces from clothes that the kids have grown out of that I couldn't get myself to part with due to their sentimental value- I am sewing them into strips and then I'll sew the strips together. Then I need to figure out how to quilt the two sides together.... of course I need to wait just a bit longer for Tama to grow out of some special stuff.

Merenia went on her first official date with her boyfriend Sandy. They went to see the new Hunger Games movie. I picked them up after and dropped Sandy home. They aren't in this picture because I didn't want to be embarrassing scrapbooker Mum or I stuffed up on my covert photo taking operation.... :-)

The weather has been fantastic this week!!

Kieran got up to watch The Day of the Doctor at 3am. Will watched at 6am. And I watched it in the afternoon..... it was GOOD!

Will's Lucky Day

Will had his lucky day at school. This meant that he got to be the Line leader and the chief teacher's helper. He got to bring special news to share. He was interviewed in front of the class. He played a game with Mrs Mulligan where he could only answer her questions with 'No'. He got a lunch order for lunch. And on top of all that he had me and Tama at school till lunch time and Les for the whole day. I picked up the big kids from school so he and Les could stay on after the bell and go on the 'big kids' playground. And Les took him for an ice cream after they were all done. It was a pretty cool day.
