14 Weeks in 14 (or so)days: Week 33

This is the week when our house was cleaner than it's ever been in the last 10 years (it was filthy when we moved in due to being empty for a while and having bats installed just before we moved in). It looked great and big. But empty and kind of damp and sad.

My scrapbooking room..... :-(

Ruby met her sister...

Tama met Auntie Leanne... I think they both fell in love a little.

Ruby's brother.... cool eh... good stock those cats!

Everyone met a goat. Ruby is freaked out by the whole concept of goats- she may have been born a farm cat but her city cat ways meant that goats were a whole new concept in living things.

We said hello and goodbye to Les' family...

Small boys proved uncooperative photo subjects.

Les reminisced...

It was the week Carolann saved my gingerbread making arse... (who knew it would be such a time sucking task!)

Tama slept helpfully while we created a village...

Things came together nicely...

Carolann created sheer artistry with a piping bag!

And a whole community formed on the dining room table...

We were blessed with a visit from Joe and Jan (the baby whisperer).

We said fond farewells to first loves...

We dreamed of a future with open space and gum trees on the horizon....

We were once again delighted with Propellers.

Yet more goodbyes....

And more love...

The kind that's hard to replace...

14 Weeks in 14 (or so)days: Week 32

This was the week we walked with the masses in a 100km/hr zone.

We took the time to indulge old loves and new....

Tama got his post surgery check-up and dressing removal and we said good bye to Dr Farmer (aka the 'Farmer Doctor' (Kieran circa 2000) ).

 The Movers moved in....

The kids all shared one room....

We left some things behind...

With the realisation they were good for us once... but not so much any more.

We were starkly reminded one of the best reasons for the move.... ( a healthy non mould ridden home).

We used the POWER of the moving truck to make grapefruit juice...

We spent the last night in our home of more than ten years....

We moved into temporary accommodation and discovered  new toys to keep us distracted.

Tama was cute. "No surprises there".
