Yardwork

Recently Les and Will spent the weekend doing outside jobs. I am sure that whilst he gains satisfaction from the completed work there ain't a hell of a lot of enjoyment in the actual work for Les and the added bonus of a 'helpful' three year old doesn't exactly add much to the process.

Will LOVES it!!!!!

The neighbours chicken flew the coup to come and score all the yummy insects in the compost heap.

The Wiggles!!

Will sports the cheapest item on the merchandise stand (Wags Ears $8). And learning what it means to not have 'Hot Potato tickets' like these people......
The action starts. He's into it.... but not totally into it.
Let's just say he's cool about it all- and possibly more than a little disappointed that he can't actually talk to the Wiggles- he wants to invite them for dinner.
He's wriggling around on the floor not really watching what's happening.... I'm asking myself if this was a good investment?
Twinkle twinkle Little Star.....

It's almost done and finally he's dancing.
We stream out with every other parent and their paraphernalia sporting toddler- I know how the Wiggles get the bulk of their fortune now if only I had some T-shirts and DVD's kids wanted to buy!

He must have enjoyed it because he wants to go to the afternoon show as well.

After some experimenting of his own he finally learns to trust me when I tell him how helium balloons work in an unconstrained space.
And Saskia gets an over priced Wiggles Balloon a month or two early, much to the chagrin of her younger brother.

Moon Calendar

Around February/March we discovered the super cool Lunar Phase Calendar and ordered ourselves one online. Will is seriously into the moon and the night sky in general so has really enjoyed comparing what he sees to what is on the calendar. Since day light saving kicked in there have been lots more opportunities for observation and comparison.

A few more random things....

I just love that some days you HAVE to watch TV from the washing basket.

Merenia's Friend Kasey comes to visit.

Board games are big with Will at the moment.

It is freaky to walk past the washing machine and see it full of babies!
(Home from Kindy for the Holidays to get a wash)

A push-me pull-you of sleepy red heads.

YUM! Gingerbread again!

'Panda' a portrait by Will.

Serenading the crimper girl.

He's getting big- and totally crazy!
