I thank the god of land ladies every week that ours let us put in the sand pit!

 

Lots of imaginative and creative block play at the moment. We moved the Duplo from the bedroom which is great because we can now put Will to bed with out fear of injury. But bad as we now can't walk out the sliding door without fear of injury. 

Tama has become a climbing machine.

"That's not a ball Tama- it's a Death Star."

"No you may not raid my stash!"

"And get down from there too Danger Baby!"

Scrap Room transformation complete. (I 'had' to get a second paper rack- yeah right!)

Kieran and Les went to an Ambrose Golf Fund-raiser for Hockey. Les said he was pretty good for a first timer.

One last swim in the pool- the weather's cooling down... to Auckland Summer Temps. 

I can't believe we got so lame so fast!

Les got a hankering for a cooked breakfast... what's a girl to do?

There's a frog (or possibly a LOUD cricket) in our front yard. If he starts up before Tama is asleep we end up going through a whole routine of going outside and 'looking' for it (impossible). And then yelling at it and telling it off. And telling it to go away across the road to stay with it's friends.

Tama it turns out is not a fan of Frogs.

Current vices: Iced Tea, Iced Coffee and Mixed Berry starburst... I ate lots because it said 'limited edition'... I have to say it's obviously not that limited.

Tiny Tales Week 9

A windy week in Perth meant that we had to bring our pool (which was empty) inside lest it become the neighbours pool after a big gust. It quickly turned into a ball pit after Tama woke up.

And a wrestling ring after Will got up.

We very seldom put shoes on Tama he just doesn't need them and it's good for his feet to just grown naturally. But when we do he really loves it.... and boy does he ever look cute!

I got a new handbag this week- Yay!! Tama got my old one and proceeded to drag it round for a few days including grabbing it just as I did mine when ever we went any where in the car. :-)

Les and the boys went for a walk/bike ride and met a friendly neighbour.

And I went out for coffee with a friend and nearly had a heart attack when I pulled out of the garage to this view. It looked like it was coming from just over the fence.

But on further investigation we found out it was a recycling depot on the other side of the Roe highway- cars and tyres and such hence the full on black smoke.

Fire Helicopters- way cool!

We seem to have big baking binges at our place some weekends- I think this will slow down over winter when we have 2 games each day... I'm not sure if I want that to be so or not.

A present for Declan and Akira. Easter Presents for the kids- a little chocolate and some small non food treats.

Germs and bugs and botherations....

Kieran had a mental health day... because he's mental I guess. Tama started the month with a cold. And Merenia also went to bed sick... all on the first of the month! Tooth ache for me.

Today was good today was fun, tomorrow is another one...

Morning tea with Emma's Mum, Nicky. Ambrose Golf Hockey Fund-raiser. Had Noah over for the day to visit. Had a fun time watching Rubbish truck videos on You Tube with Tama. Cailee for a sleepover. Les spent the day at the Aero-tow. Declan's Party. Akira's Party. Hockey Carnival for Kieran. Met a guy who played his Didgeridoo for us. Easter Hat Parade at LPS. Making Mud Pies on Easter Sunday. I took a drive to York.

Scored some toys for birthdays in the toyworld sale. Snapfish had a 50% off on 12x12 digital photobooks I printed 2 years worth of 365 project. Merenia's soccer gear. Some cool wet weather pants for Tama to wear while attending the big kids sports games. New Schleich animals for Tama and Merenia.

Bugger!

Couldn't see the comet that was visible on the horizon from our vantage point. Pie Day was a bust. Kieran's first haircut. Tama had a paed appointment and we found out his referral to Neurology never got sent. Winning two prizes in the Easter Raffle.

Hooray!

Night Hockey finished! Caught up with my cousin Danny. Got a couple of HUGE long term items off my 'guilt list'. Finished my Daily December album, finally. Two 12x12 digital photo books done. Merit certificate for Will. Kieran's second haircut. Getting Les' France photobook done. Flowers for me from Bel.

Etc...

Big industrial fire a couple of blocks away. Les voted in the State Election. Practices for winter sport started.
